Fall Colors

Nov 22, 2019

Today at lunch I decided to get out and just admire the change of the seasons. I noticed the trees around town seemed to be in peak change this morning as I made my school drop-offs. It was a beautiful drive, although in areas where the post oaks were particularly dense, it was sad to see the effects of the severe drought we had a few years back. This will be noticeable for quite a while, but it was apparent a lot of new growth was well on its way in the recovery. Before I could get home a rain storm had begun to blow in, and the temperature was dropping.
